PROGRAM - Inclusion Has US in it: Let’s Talk About Community-Building with Cultural Fluence
In this interactive session, Rachel & Jye will share how the S.P.A.R.K. approach supports a more nuanced conversation about DEIA (diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism). Participants will reflect on what it means to create inclusive community conditions while being aware of our unconscious biases. They will be guided by questions, prompts, and intentional conversational tools. Participants will also have the opportunity to play S.P.A.R.K., a game that invokes empathetic, meaningful conversations. Participants will learn ways to counteract unconscious biases while discovering commonalities at the cultural interface, feeling the genuine community generated by S.P.A.R.K.

    Speakers:
    Rachel Rosen,
    CEO, FACILITATOR, AND PROJECT LEAD
A seasoned facilitator and DEI strategist, Rachel has supported organizations, teams, and communities to make progress on their goals–holding space for complex conversations about inequities—for nearly a decade. She brings her lessons-learned and a collaborative, community-centered approach to everything she does as a leader. (MA in Leadership & Organizational Development, Stanford)

    Jye Turk,
    Facilitator, Strategist, and Practitioner
With extensive experience facilitating and teaching, he brings such an important lens to the work. He’s also a super-connector and cares deeply about sparking community conversations and connections so they can realize their potential, collaborate, and ultimately have a positive impact. (MA in Leadership & Change, St. Edwards)

We look forward to seeing you!
